I decided to group in a same diorama several tests and technical training sessions that I wanted to carry out.
Having, like many others, been inspired by the artistic direction of the Wayfinder game, I wanted to practice by sculpting new assets with more organic shapes.
I also based my retopology on their references.
For the textures, I mixed the use of masks and hand-paint on Painter and created materials for the monstera pot on Designer.
For environmental materials, I was able to practice sculpting new tileable materials on ZBrush and then texturing on Painter.
The LayeredMaterial with the few blends that were used with the displacement option. This allowed me to create and test different blending methods during the creation of the diorama (vertex painting, heightblend, gradients, use of RGB masks).
I set up a world-aligned texture for the floor.
